The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Red Flag Warning for the aforementioned counties due to a combination of strong Santa Ana winds, low humidity, and dry vegetation. Critical fire weather conditions are expected through Saturday.

• Strong Winds: Sustained winds of 20-30 mph are forecasted, with gusts up to 50 mph.
• Low Humidity: Humidity levels will drop as low as 5%, creating extremely dry conditions.
• Dry Vegetation: Prolonged drought conditions have left vegetation parched and susceptible to igniting.
• Increased Fire Danger: Any fires that ignite under these conditions will have the potential to spread rapidly and become difficult to control.
