Boeing's Starliner Spacecraft: A New Era in Space Travel
From Concept to Reality
Boeing's Crew Space Transportation (CST-100) Starliner spacecraft is a testament to the advancements in commercial spaceflight. Developed in collaboration with NASA's Commercial Crew Program, the Starliner is designed to transport astronauts to and from the International Space Station (ISS).
Preparing for Launch
The Starliner's first uncrewed mission, OFT-2, is scheduled to launch in the near future. This mission will demonstrate the spacecraft's ability to dock with the ISS, pave the way for the first crewed mission, Starliner-1. NASA astronauts Barry "Butch" Wilmore and Sunita Williams will command the Starliner-1 mission, which is expected to launch later this year.
